Kenya the Nova Scotia Duck Toller makes it big!

I've made it to the big time. You can now see my pic on Uncle Matty's homepage at http://www.unclematty.com/woofpub/articles/kenyacharron.htm?#464

I will be available for pawtographs after the Ottawa Senators game against the Toronto Maple Leafs, in the Molson room.

Duck toller dreams of a bone.

Why does he have to take my picture with that bone right in front of my face? I want to chew on that. Give it to me now!

Kenya the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever flys again!

Here I come, I gonna jump into this pile of leaves and find another puck. Man I love this!

Kenya's got a new online buddy!

Here's a picture of my new online friend, Juno. He's a Boxer, 8 weeks old from a litter of 6. Of the 6 only two were white. Don't be deceived by the cute little eyes, he's got a mischievous streak about him, but he's a good little guy.

Kenya the stealthy duck toller.

Along the lines of "Where's Waldo", I'm playing where's Kenya. No, seriously here I am spying on folks at the local dog walking trail. I know they can't see me, cause I stealthy.

Kenya sniffs for clues!

Here I am in some kind of scary wooded area that resembled something out of the movie. Lord of the Toller, or was it Lord of the Rings. Whatever. I had a blast running around the woods, and sniffing for stuff. Yeehaw!

Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever gets the bed.

It's a rare opportunity that I get to relax on Mom and Dad's bed, but when I get invited I sure don't turn down the chance. This bed is HUGE compared to mine. I would love something like this for my own. I guess I need to sell more books (see left side of my page).

Kenya learns French.

See I told you Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers were smart. Here I am reading about grammar for the French course I'm taking. If you're going to be an actor you need to be well versed in many languages.

Kenya goes for a walk in the woods.

Man do I love going for a walk in the woods. Especially after getting that girl fired from the drum band, I needed to get away. I could walk out here everyday. So long for now, gotta go look for some ducks.

Kenya goes to a percussions show.

Hey folks, Kenya the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever here. Yesterday I went out for a hike and came across this percussion group praciticing in the middle of nowhere. If you look close enough the drummer on the far left is looking at me and smiling. As a result she was offbeat and got dumped from the band. She should have paid attention. See ya.

Kenya searches out a duck.

Here I am deftly searching out a duck. I'm pointing him out to my Dad, who should have a shotgun, but doesn't. Why do I go to these lengths to point out ducks for him, if he's not going to shoot one. I'm going to start pointing out pubs for him.

Tired Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever

Oh man, am I tired. After a whole afternoon of retrieving that new toy Dad bought me, I need a rest. This is the only piece of furniture I'm allowed on in the whole house. Except when Mom and Dad are gone. Then I can go anywhere I please! When are they leaving?

Kenya loves her Starbucks coffee.

I need a little jolt before I go out retrieving again. I found this cup on the counter. Cool! This stuff is awesome. Cafe Americano gives me zip! Gotta go!

Kenya the duck toller actually retrieving!

Finally after 5 years my Dad buys me some Duck tolling retriever stuff to train with. Yeehaw! I love this thing! Throw it, throw it again, throw it again, throw it again, throw it again, throw it again, throw it again, throw it again, throw it again, throw it again, throw it again, throw it again, throw it again, throw it again, throw it again, throw it again, throw it again. Don't stop now I've got to make up for 5 years worth of retrieving hockey pucks, buddy.

The Nova Scotia Duck Toller nose.

Hey! What are you doing? As I've said before I'm watching you buddy! Don't try anything fancy, or you'll be in big trouble. Oh yeah, my nose knows! You know?

A happy dog this Nova Scotia Duck Toller is!

Man, am I a happy dog when I get my exercise. Don't even think of getting a duck toller if you're not going to give her/him the exercise they need. I run twice a day, and get walks on top of that. I just may be the fittest duck toller in the world, if not then Ontario, or maybe just my part of Ontario, or the fittest dog in my house. My house! Hey I've taken over!

One big duck for a Duck Toller!

I went for a walk yesterday and came across this place that had all these huge ducks! I've never seen a duck that big before. I'm not sure I could retrieve that! They just kept landing and then taking off. Stupid Ducks!

Kenya the Spying Dog.

Maybe I should start my own Private Eye investigation services. Here I am spying on my neighbour. What is she up to over there? She's pushing some sort of contraption around her lawn. It makes noise and the grass seems to be trimmed afterwards. I'm going to have to keep an eye on her!

Duck Toller dog goes to a concert.

Hey folks, Kenya here. I love listening to my Dad play guitar. As I've said before, he sucks, but he does play a couple of tunes well. When he Travis picks is what I enjoy the most. If I didn't have paws I would play guitar too, but it's kind of hard with paws. We're going for a hike today so I'll have some photos for you later.

Kenya's Search and Rescue for the ball.

Here's me flying through the air looking for the ball, and diving into a pile of leaves. I think I broke the long jump record for Duck Tollers. See next picture.

Here's me making a safe landing in the leaves, and beginning my search for the ball. This after the ball has been missing for at least 10 seconds. It can't breathe under all the leaves, so it must be saved.

Found it! I've saved the day once again!

Kenya's back from a little trip!

Sorry folks I was away in Stowe, Vermont for a few days on a Dog blog conference. I took some time to network and market my web blog down there.

Thanks to the folks at the Hotel/Spa for the Paw-icure. I needed it. Next time I'll get the full body massage. Did some hiking, swimming, and all around relaxing. What a beautiful place Stowe is! The restaurants were fantastic and there's tons to do. I'll be back.

We've had lots of hits in the last few weeks. Please leave some comments for me to improve my blog. No need to leave your name if you don't want. Thanks!

For more information on great hotels/spas check out the Trip reviews online, for reviews of hotels, restaurants and other things to do.

Kenya the Duck Toller wants in! Now!

Hey! Let me in! I'm hungry. Give me food! I'm the boss of this household. That's why my middle name is Laird! No not after Laird Hamilton the surfer. Although I would love to try surfing. I'm going to ask my Dad if he'll take me surfing someday. Why not! I can swim.
Anyway back to "Let me in!". After being outside by myself for at least 3 minutes, I want in. It's boring in the backyard by yourself. At least it's boring when you've chased the squirrels away.

Kenya the Duck Toller goes to the park.

Hi everyone!

What did I do today? Well I spent it with my Mom. Chased a little blue ball around. Listened to my Dad play a little guitar. He sucks, but he tries! Begged for some attention, and got a short walk out of it. All in all another dog day, even though summer is over. I'll be meeting some friends on the weekend for some playtime. I hope we go swimming!

I'd like to thank my new fans for dropping by the site. New fans are always welcome!

Once again if you have any questions about Duck Tollers or comments please feel free to email me at kenyaducktoller@yahoo.ca

Bye for now.

Kenya - Modeling Career shot #2

Hey everyone! I bet you thought I'd forgotten about my blog, now that I'm a model. Well I've been out with Dad taking more shots for my portfolio and I thought I'd show you a sample. Here I am pretending to pay attention to my Dad, but really I'm watching a squirrel. Afterwards, I took off like a bat out of hell, but it climbed a tree and got away. I'll get that little weasel, no wait that was a squirrel.
